Alabama Tamil Sangam (ATS), in proud partnership with the City of Hoover, is excited to host once again the Hundred Cricket Fest 2025 — a high-energy, community-driven cricket festival held over Labor Day Weekend, honoring the dedicated service of Hoover Recreation Center.

🏏 About the Event
ATS is proud to present Alabama’s largest tape tennis cricket tournament played in The Hundred format, featuring:
Men’s Teams from across Alabama
Women’s Teams in a historic exhibition match
Over 60 matches will be played across three days, culminating in an Awards Ceremony on Sunday evening.
🌐 About Alabama Tamil Sangam (ATS)
ATS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural organization established in 2011. Since 2022, ATS has expanded its community mission by promoting sports, wellness, and youth engagement. Cricket, a sport growing rapidly in the U.S. — especially following the USA’s strong performance in the recent Cricket World Cup — has found a home in Alabama through ATS’ leadership.

Every individual participating in the game is required to sign the Waiver and Liability Release form.
This event, The Hundred Cricfest, is organized by Alabama Tamil Sangam (ATS) in partnership with the City of Hoover. Participation in this event is entirely voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.
By attending or participating in Cricfest, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk: All participants, spectators, and volunteers understand that cricket and related activities involve inherent risks of physical injury. ATS is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, accidents, or property damage that may occur before, during, or after the event.
2. Medical Responsibility: Participants are responsible for their own medical coverage. ATS will not provide medical insurance and is not liable for any medical expenses incurred due to injury or illness sustained during the event.
3. Release of Liability: By registering or participating, you release ATS, its organizers, volunteers, and partners (including the City of Hoover) from any liability for loss, injury, or damage, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. Media Consent: Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant ATS the right to use your image or likeness in any such materials unless otherwise stated in writing.
5. Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to maintain respectful behavior throughout the event. ATS reserves the right to disqualify or remove individuals who engage in unsportsmanlike conduct or disruptive behavior.
6. Weather & Schedule Changes: ATS reserves the right to modify the event schedule, format, or location in case of weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be issued due to such changes or cancellations.
7. Event Cancellation Due to Insufficient Teams: ATS reserves the right to cancel the tournament if there are not enough teams to conduct the event in a fair and competitive manner. In such cases, registered teams will receive a full refund of their registration fees.
